Town of Otisfield Scholarship Fund
In July 1987, at a Special Town Meeting, the residents of Otisfield voted to form the Otisfield Scholarship Fund Committee. The By-Laws and Policies of the Fund were enacted. Over the years 100 Scholarships have been awarded totaling $48,745.00. Only the interest on the fund is used all new funds go to the principle of the fund.
Donations are always accepted. Christmas lights are sold and the proceeds go into the fund. We have been collecting bottles at the transfer station for the past few years which has added significant funds. Families have had donations in memory of their loved ones sent to the fund.
