Workshop Minutes
January 20, 2011
1. CALL TO ORDER: Called to order at 7:10 PM.
2. ATTENDANCE: Road Study Review Committee (RSRC) members present were Chair Quentin Henderson, Vice Chair David Hyer, Dan Peaco, Lenny Adler
Absent: Sandy Ouellette, Mike Quinn
Advisor, Road Commissioner~Richard Bean
3. QUORUM: Board had a quorum.
4. SECRETARY’S REPORT:
A. Meeting minutes from December 16 2010. Motion to accept minutes. LA/DP – Unanimous.
5. DISCUSSION & COMMENTS FROM PUBLIC:
A. None.
6. DISCUSSION & COMMENTS FROM COMMITTEE:
A. Roads: DP provided copies of the 2005 AVOG Road Study for the town and after discussion it was decided that he would submit an estimated cost of $2.6M to the Comprehensive Plan committee for road maintenance/repairs
B. Equipment: Grader: additional research will be conducted to get an estimate to purchase a used grader. The total estimate for equipment provided to HF for Comprehensive Plan Committee for equipment was $500K.
C. QH to ask Marriane for data on road equipment rental for last FY and have it for the next meeting
D. LA provided status of various accounts as to cash on hand: Garage: $46K; Timber: $220K; Equipment: $30K; Capital Improvement: $113K; Undesignated surplus: $1.1M
7. UPCOMING DATES:
A. Next meeting February 17, 2011 @ 7:00 PM.
8. ADJOURNMENT:
