Article 15. To see if the Town will vote to give authority to the Selectmen:
A. To dispose of any real estate acquired by the town for non-payment of taxes thereon, on such
terms as they may deem advisable and to execute quit claim deeds for such property, to use excess funds
from the sale of tax acquired property to maintain town owned property and negotiate contracts
for snow removal and sanding.
B. To fix a date when taxes are due and payable and to fix a rate of interest to be charged on taxes
unpaid after that date and set an interest rate that the town will pay on rebated taxes for the fiscal year.
C. and for the Tax Collector to accept prepayment of taxes not yet due or assessed and pay interest at
a rate of 0% on any overpayment.

as second half payment due. Interest charged at a rate of 12% on delinquent taxes. To pay 3.5%
interest on rebated taxes and 0% on prepaid taxes.

Article 21 To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Selectmen to enter into a ten year lease/purchase agreement
for a new Pumper Fire Truck, up to the total cost of $216,750( principle$170,000/ interest $46,750.) and
to raise and appropriate the sum of $26,000 (Twenty Six Thousand Dollars), for the first year’s lease payment
and to fund part of this appropriation by authorizing the transfer from surplus of $15,000 (Fifteen Thousand Dollars)
with the balance $11,000 from taxes for fiscal year 2008.

agreement for a new Pumper Fire Truck for a total principle cost of $170,000 and that we raise
and appropriate $15,000 from surplus and $11,000 from taxes for the first payment for this year. (TNurmi)
Article 22 To see if the Town will vote to accept funds totaling five hundred dollars ($500) for reservations
to be placed in the Old Cemeteries Trust Fund from Joseph and Eileen Kiley, Alice Richards, and
Nancy Love Crooker for the care, maintenance, upkeep and beautifications of the cemeteries.

Article 23 To see if the residents of the Town of CityOtisfield will accept all right, title and interest of the
South Otisfield Cemetery Association and to a certain lot or parcel of land as situated on Powhatan Road
in the town ofOtisfield. By accepting and recording this deed, the Inhabitants of the Town hereby agree
to assume control and management of said Cemetery.
